Daryl Skoog

Senior Vice President, Technology

Daryl provides strategic direction in the acquisition and deployment of core operating systems to support the portfolio management and accounting requirements for micro banking and NGO operations globally. He directs vendor and contractor services for systems in Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Since joining Opportunity International in 2000, Daryl initiated the first global portfolio management system deployment in the microfinance industry. He also provided 24/7 global supports for all deployed systems and supported the licensing and startup of banking operations in Ghana, Zambia, Malawi, Philippines, Montenegro, Albania, and Serbia. In addition, Daryl has worked with operations supporting the deployment of 300,000 loans to the poorest of the working poor, generating 450,000 jobs.
