Growing Opportunity Finance (GO Finance)

Growing Opportunity Finance (India) Private Limited was registered as a Non-Banking Finance Company in Chennai India on 16 November 2006 allowing us to provide financial services throughout India.

Our first year growth was phenomenal. We met our one-year anniversary with more than 14,000 active clients. During this initial phase of development, we are focused on offering loans to women. We are proud to say that Growing Opportunity today has a 98% repayment rate on the funds provided.

Jochen and Johshy Tewes laid the foundation of Growing Opportunity, and along with Opportunity International they provided the initial vision in moving Growing Opportunity into existence. Jochen and Johshy Tewes are also the founders of Inter-Mission Industrial Development Association (IIDA). IIDA have been providing skills-based holistic training to poor women, widows and the unemployed for over 35 years. The need for business development training and start-up capital for poor entrepreneurs was recognised, so alongside the Opportunity International Network, the framework for Growing Opportunity was established.
