Network Standards

Network Standards is responsible for developing and maintaining standards of the Network accreditation system, and internal audit functions of organizations that are consistent with Opportunity’s vision, mission, and values. Opportunity maintains an internal self-assessment and peer-review-based accreditation process for its microfinance institutions. The Network Standards team first performs a commercial accreditation, using the CAMEL system. Then, the team performs a mission accreditation to assess the institution’s adherence to Opportunity’s commitment to providing transformational products and services for the poorest entrepreneurs.
