Daisy San Jose
Daisy was introduced to the workings of the Hagdan Sa Pag-Uswag foundation, Inc. 16 years ago, through her late husband, Herminio, who was a Founding Trustee. When he passed away 14 years ago, she was invited to the Board of HSPFI to carry on the work started by her late husband. Thereafter, she has assumed various positions in the organization and has been its President for the past 7 years. She prioritizes her commitment to Hagdan even as she is actively involved as an officer or member of various civic, social, professional and non-profit organizations, among which are: Founding Trustee of St. Ignatius Hospice Foundation, Inc., which cares and helps poor and terminally ill people; Founding Trustee/Vice-chair of Rosevale Foundation, which manages a pre-school, and which also gives scholarship to poor children; Board member, City Tourism Council, which assists the city Government in promoting Cagayan de Oro City as an economic and tourist destination; member, local Council of Presidents of Soroptomist International, an international women’s civic organization, which assists and help empower women improve their lot. She finds fulfillment and is committed in serving the Lord in whatever way she can. She is a loving and caring mother of three and a doting grandma of four.
