Adrian Merryman

Adrian’s affiliation with Opportunity International began in 2002 when he traveled to Malawi and Zambia on an insight trip.  Upon retirement from the commercial world in late 2003 to pursue a lifelong dream of serving the poor, he supported Opportunity’s efforts in Russia and Honduras, also becoming acquainted with programs in the Philippines, Nicaragua, Montenegro and Macedonia.  In October 2004, Adrian joined Opportunity to serve as Chief Operating Officer, and in late 2006 was asked to serve as Chief Executive Officer.   read more
