Tatiana Yurina
Tatiana started as an accountant in Saratov, Russia with an Opportunity International affiliate in 1998. In 2002 she moved to the headquarters of FORA Fund in Nizhniy Novgorod to assume the position of Business Development Director and in 2003 was appointed Director of the Fund. Under Tatiana's leadership, FORA Fund became the largest non-bank microfinance institution in Russia with 16,000 clients covering 25 regions of Russia. In 2005, Tatiana led the FORA team in establishing FORUS Bank, the first microfinance bank in Russia with 41 offices across 28 regions of Russia. In 2006 Tatiana was appointed Chairman of the Management Board/CEO of the Bank. Under Tatiana's leadership, FORUS Bank outnumbers many other microfinance organizations in Russia and Eastern Europe in percentage of women clients that it serves, with over 75% of clients being women.
